When installing an aftermarket radio in your 2nd generation Acura TL this harness allows you to retain the factory amplifier and the Bose subwoofer that powers it. The amplifier in your 1999-2003 Acura TL is only responsible for powering the subwoofer. The radio along with the EQ behind it power the speakers in the vehicle.
