If you are installing new speakers or a new subwoofer you may introduce unwanted rattle and noise to your vehicle. This unwanted rattle/noise can come from almost anywhere including door panels, rear deck covers, and trunk lids. This material is used to stop vibrations thus reducing and often eliminating unwanted noise/rattle. This material is easy to install all you have to do is cut to size and roll onto the material you want to eliminate noise from. It can be used on plastics, metals and wood. In order to apply this material you will need a roller.
The sound deadening material is available in two thicknesses. The thicker the material the better job it does. We recommend using thicker material in areas where you can’t fit a lot of it such door panels. In areas like your trunk you can use the thinner material just more of it spread out upon the entire trunk area.
