Looking for a replacement sub woofer for your Acura that fits in the factory location? This is it! When replacing your factory subwoofer the three main challenges are that it must be a free air subwoofer as the factory subwoofer is not fully enclosed, that it must be 8 inches and not exceed 6 inches in depth and that it must have a final impedance of two ohms. This subwoofer meets two of those criteria and fits into the factory location with the use of an adapter bracket.
This subwoofer can be used with the factory amp but it is 4ohms. This means that if used with the factory amplifier it may result in less overall volume from the subwoofer. We recommend you sound deaden the rear deck and the rear deck cover to reduce rattle.
This package comes with the adapter needed to mount the aftermarket sub in the factory location and a harness to connect to the factory subwoofer connector so the install is as easy as possible. This subwoofer has the following properties
