Description
This Amplifier Module allows you to install aftermarket amplifiers and continue using the factory stereo in Acuras’ equipped with the ELS Audio System. This module is installed along side the factory amplifier and captures the outputs of the factory amplifier and processes them to a clean low level signal you can use for your aftermarket equipment. The T harness also allows you to connect your amplifiers output to all the speakers in the car all from one central location.
You can use this Amplifier Module to only install an amplifier for the door speakers or just the subwoofer. You can leave the factory amplifier to power all the other speakers while you only install a new 4 channel amplifier or monoblock for your subwoofer. This Module is designed by Metra and is programmed using an android or apple phone. The software of the module is straightforward but can be confusing for a beginner. According to your selections we pre-tune the DSP so that you can plug it in and start enjoying your new system. The DSP has a total of 6 inputs that are high level and can give you up to 10 rca outputs for your amps. The output is 4V and can be EQ however you want. You can also set high pass, lowpass and bandpass filters to get your speakers sounding exactly how you want. The Amplifier Module also provides and remote out with 250ma of output to turn on your aftermarket amps.
