Upgrade your Acura’s audio system with Bluetooth audio streaming while keeping the stock factory look with this plug and play interface. This interface integrates with your factory radio to provide stereo audio streaming via the A2DP Bluetooth protocol. This means you can stream your own music straight to your factory radio. The interface also provides text translation so you can view your Bluetooth audio information such as title and album right on the factory screen. This interface also provides Bluetooth hands-free calling via an external microphone if your factory Handsfree link has failed or you rather not use it.
This interface only works on vehicles without navigation. Installation is easy as the interface can be installed at the factory Sirius XM tuner found in the trunk or behind the factory radio. If you only want Bluetooth streaming then installation at the Sirius XM tuner in the trunk is recommended. If you want to use Bluetooth calling along with streaming then installation behind the radio is recommended. The interface installs via the white XM connector with the use of a T Harness. This allows you to continue to use Sirius XM if you have an active subscription.
This interface allows you to use the factory steering wheel controls to control the media you are listening to so you can change songs and lower or raise the volume as you are driving. The interface also has a USB charging port and AUX input so depending on your use case these extra ports will provide an advantage to you.
